Content with relevant images gets more views than content without. However, the average marketer may find visual content creation challenging and time consuming. Great visual content that gets a high response and goes viral in today’s social media marketing takes skill or a budget to hire a great graphic designer. That’s why templates come so handy and Power Point is still the quickest way to add visuals to your content marketing.

And in social media, visuals pretty much make or break your presence. In fact, according to Buffer, tweets with images receive 18% more clicks, 89% more favorites, and 150% more retweets. And if you need any more evidence to convince you visuals are essential to your content marketing, just consider all these stats.

But honestly … who’s got time for all that? And I don’t know about you, but I don’t exactly have a degree in graphic design, or the budget to hire someone who does. So, what’s a design-impaired marketer to do?

Luckily, over the past couple years, we’ve been on a mission at HubSpot to make visual content creation much less of an obstacle for the average marketer. How, you ask? Templates, my friends … templates. And what’s great about these templates is they’re all built for software you probably already have on your computer: PowerPoint. (Source)

If you are looking for a way to take your business to the next level, consider what starting a blog might be able to do for you. f you run a small company, you may find that the world of” blogging for business owners is a world that you want to be a part of.

Blogging for business owners has a lot in common with all other types of blogging, but it has its own unique pitfalls and strengths. The key to having a successful blog as a business owner is keeping your goals clear and concrete at every step of your blogging adventure.

It can be all to easy to get sidetracked, especially if you are just learning about the exciting possibilities of blogging technology, but if you want your blog to succeed you need to stay focused. Write up a plan for how often you will update, how you will promote your blog and retain readers, whether you will feature photographs or video, and other aspects of your blog, and then stick to it with the same kind of determination that you used when you built your company.

Here you will find some helpful tips on effective blogging.

Tip # 1: Choosing your niche market

Before you even register a domain name or set up hosting, you should identify what your market is, so that you can develop a website from the ground floor up, focusing on a specific target audience.

Many bloggers make the mistake of jumping right into the development phase, eager and excited about the possibilities of creating the next big website or igniting a popular community based on their current interests or niche markets, but what they fail to do is thoroughly evaluate a niche’s profitability before they spend time creating a website around it and blogging.
Choosing your niche market it is critical for your blog’s success.
One fast-track strategy of exploring potential niche topics is by using the Google Trends tool, available at http://www.Google.com/Trends Click Here for more ” how to find a profitable niche” ideas.

Tip # 2: Keyword Swipe File

Now that you have an idea of what your niche market and overall focus will be, it’s time to create a keyword swipe file that can be used within your content, optimization and in generating targeted traffic to your website through blogging.
Keyword research is a critical part of the process, and those who overlook it end up spending time and money building websites that rank poorly in the search engines, finding it impossible to generate traffic to, or worse, there is no existing customer base for the topic they choose.
Keyword research will also help you identify whether a niche market is large enough to be a viable theme for your blog , and by knowing what people are typing into the search engines and searching for, you can create content around those requests, making it exceptionally easy to pull in organic traffic from the search engines.
It all begins by using free tools and resources found online, including keyword evaluation tools such as http://www.Wordtracker.com , or Google’s Free Keyword Utility, available at: https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordtoolExternal
Create
your swipe file so that it includes 10-20 keywords (both primary phrases and long tail keyword phrases) that you will use when optimizing your blog and in creating content for your website itself.

Tip # 3: Put a headline

Chose wisely so  readers have an idea of what they are reading. Don’t put a write-up or a video blog with no sense at all. Make it a point that they participate by giving out opinions and comments. Think of what’s interesting to read. Let the readers be captivated, to do so, begin with your title. Make it a head turner. Motivate by grabbing their attention.

Tip # 4: Headline optimization

When it comes to the length of your blog posts, try to stay between 300- 500 words. You should also focus on using different page titles for each post, and avoid using the same keyword at the start of every page title as well. You should also keep in mind that Google only displays the first 70 characters of your blog page titles within search results, so be sure to include your most important keywords within each title and keep it trimmed down so that you are only focusing on the most relevant keywords for your niche market.

Tip # 5: Build paragraphs

Every blog consists of one thought. That doesn’t necessarily mean you must imitate that thought by maintaining one whole paragraph per se. Split your ideas. Cut them down into bits when blogging. Compose sub ideas that’ll support the whole picture. Don’t give your viewers a hard time reading a big rock. Break them into marbles.

Tip # 6: Characterize

Put some attitude in your writing. Don’t be so serious about your blog. Ensure the quality must go hand in hand with lightness. Act as if you’re speaking up to the whole world. Spice your blog up a bit. Argue. Make them react. Make them feel. Add emotions when blogging  and not just plain writing.

Tip # 7: Time-bound

Old news could be pretty boring. Blend it with the new. Update it. Or better yet, revise it. It’s in the nature of humanity to search for something relevant, acceptable, contributing and most of all. Current issues are always an eye-catcher. So brush up those research skills.

Tip # 8: Install

Yes you are a blogger. But that doesn’t mean you are good at it. So even before your readers would boast how incapable your writing talents are, block it. Install an anti-spam software and tools to filter those comments and keep them moderate. Comments may either be positive or negative. So make sure you accept the good ones and trash away the bad.

Tip # 9: Stay Real

Don’t go astray with your posts. A fundamental aspect of blogging is the contribution it would make for the media. Personal relations must be established. Maintain a constant conversation. A way to do this is by staying true to your every word. Pinky-swear on it. Nobody would believe a fraud. Create significant value that would result for your readers to keep coming back for more.

Tip # 10: Respond

Respond to your comments. Don’t let it go unnoticed. If your reader asks you a question, be ready to answer. Silence is not a benefit with this kind of industry. Be aware of what people think and note their reactions. If they do react, provide a satisfying answer. If criticisms arise, take it smoothly.

Tip # 11: Advertise

If your blog goes unnoticed, it doesn’t mean that it’s useless. At least you get to satisfy your writing abilities. But if you still lack a reader’s attention, why not advertise your blog? All you need to do is go to other sites and post out a comment on their blogs and at the same time, invite them to visit yours. It’s a give and take process.

Tip # 12: Post regularly

One of the key factors of developing a successful blog is in staying consistently active. You need to update your website regularly, respond to comments, and work towards offering an interactive community for those within your market. The more active and consistent you are, the easier it will be to build awareness and generate fresh leads and subscribers every day.
Blogs are newfound journalistic mediums of an author’s freewill to publish. It’s not just another brick on the wall. Definitely, it means something.

headlines formula

In the world of marketing, or anytime you need people to read what you are writing, your first impression is your headline. A catchy one will draw people in to learn more—and a so-so one can make you easily forgettable.

Headlines are meant to grab people’s attention. They should make it EASY for people to make a decision about you. Can you solve their problems? Does your tone fit their style?

Are they enticed to read on? It is possible to communicate all this in ONE simple sentence. And you don’t have to be a pro copywriter to master this skill.

Read on for FIVE proven headline formulas that consistently grab people’s attention.

1. The Question: “Are You Worried About Your Financial Future?”

A question headline automatically gets your readers involved in your message, because they answer it in their minds. Many people will read further into your letter, ad, or web site copy just to find out what answer or solution you provide. Just make sure the question focuses on the reader’s interest, not yours. A bad example would be: “Do You Know What New Product We’ve Created This Year?” (No one cares but you!)

2. The How-to: “How to Get Thinner Thighs in 30 Days.”

How-to headlines work very well, because people love information that shows them how to do something. (Thousands of book titles begin with “How to….”) Think of the benefits your product/service offers and then try creating some “how to” headlines.

3. The Testimonial: “Jane Smith’s Consulting Is Pure Magic — Our Sales Have Increased by 30%!”

Why not let your clients do the selling for you? Their recommendations can go a long way in convincing others to use your services. Tip: To appear credible, always include your clients’ full names, the cities they live in, a photo, and any other relevant information.

4. The Command: “Boost Your Business Today!”

Turn your most important benefit into a commanding headline, such as “Make More Time for Your Family,” “Look Younger Instantly!” and “Get 7 New Clients This Month.” (By the way, throwing a number into your headline is another good tactic. And readers seem to like odd numbers as opposed to even.)

5. The News: “Introducing Our New ‘Rest-Assured’ Tax Service!”

Caution: This only works if you truly have something big to announce that is of interest to the reader. (Something that will make her life or business better.) Don’t try to make news out of something that’s not.

Once your readers know you have something they’re interested in, they’ll take the time to read your entire article, web page, blog post, brochure, letter, ad, or e-zine. So put some TLC into creating headlines that entice!

blog contentPublishing articles, especially via an ezine or blog, is the ideal opportunity to showcase your business. By sharing your knowledge and expertise, you build credibility as an expert, while spreading the word about your services and products.

While I’m sure that sometimes you have dozens of content ideas, I bet other times you find yourself staring at a blank computer screen, grumbling that it’s publishing time again. Well, have no fear! Here are 11 quick (and good) content ideas for when you’re in a pinch.

Give real-life success stories. Describe a problem you’ve solved for a client/customer, and use that as a springboard to offer more general advice. Show your readers how you’ve helped customers address challenges—”case studies” if you will. This positions you as the expert in your readers’ minds more than your coming out and saying so.

Think of three areas in which you’d like your clients to think of you as a resource. Now develop content in those areas. For example, in my past life as a professional copywriter, I really enjoyed writing for Web sites. To help encourage my clients and prospects to hire me for these projects, I published several articles on how to write Web copy that sells.

Read industry publications for ideas. Are there any hot issues in your field right now? The more controversial, the better. Don’t be afraid to offer your own opinion—your readers want to know it. After all, YOU are the expert in their eyes.

Jot down 8 questions your clients have asked you in the past. You know, the ones they ask you over and over. Answer each in a short article. If you publish weekly, that’s two months’ worth of content, right off the bat! And if you can’t think of any questions, send all your current clients/customers a quick e-mail, asking them what topics they’re most interested in learning more about.

Learn anything neat lately from an industry conference, workshop, seminar, or insightful article? No one says you have to reinvent the wheel of information! Pass on any gems of advice you’ve learned elsewhere—just give them full attribution. Or give your opinion of the event or article itself. Your readers will appreciate your frankness.

Offer a list of your top 5 or 10 tips on a certain subject. It’s much easier to bang out a list of tips than to put together a real article. Of course, the tips can evolve into an article if you wish! Be sure to list your best tip first, or at least close to the top. (If you “fire your biggest gun” last, you risk losing your audience before they get to the good stuff.)

Interview associates whose expertise would interest your readers (while not competing with yours). E-mail interviews are incredibly easy to do. Just send your interviewee 3 to 5 questions via e-mail, edit their answers, and have them approve the final version. Be sure to give them a short plug in your e-zine as a thank you. (A one- or two-sentence description of their business and their Web address should be fine.)

Recommend books and resources that you use, and offer full reviews on them. In one issue of my old original ezine, “AKB MarCom Tips,” I featured reviews of my favorite four copywriting resource books. I also gave my Amazon.com associate links, so I ended up making some commission too.

Invite clients or readers to write you with their own questions, and answer one in each issue. Right after their question, publish the person’s name, business, and Web address, with their permission. They’ll enjoy the attention and free publicity!

Invite readers to send in profiles. Ask them to tell you about themselves—their names, businesses, locations, and how they use the information gained in your e-zine. Feature one profile in each issue or one every few issues.

When all else fails, borrow an article! There are dozens of Web sites offering hundreds of articles that you can use in your e-zine. The articles are free and available for you to use immediately. The only catch is you’re required to leave the entire article intact, including the author’s promotional information. One of my favorite places to search for articles is www.ezinearticles.com.

One last note: Keep in mind that if your e-zine’s main objective is to get you more clients and customers, you should NOT feature other writers’ articles more than once in a blue moon. Remember our main goal is to continually showcase YOU.

QUESTION: Do you have a favorite idea generator for your ezine or blog? I’d love to hear from you. Please comment below via our web form or FaceBook app!

Did you know I’ve created a step-by-step manual that walks you through creating, publishing, and promoting your own moneymaking ezine? It’s called “Ezine Marketing Power: How to Use Email Publishing to Attract Hot New Prospects, Win Loyal Customers, and Grow Your Revenues FAST“ Get all the details here.

make money bloggingFor most people it may sound like a dream; however, it is a reality. You can make money blogging. The internet is full of people’s testimonials and comments in this topic. While there are genuine reviews, others are just meant to drive you to their website.
As a matter of fact, they are also bloggers. Here we will give you an overview on how to make money blogging but first let’s define a blog, blogger and blogging.

What are a blog, blogger and blogging?

Blog is a short form of weblog. It can be defined as an informational or discussion platform in the World Wide Web consisting of posts which are discrete entries entered in a chronologically reverse manner.

In simple terms, it’s a webpage where individuals or groups can post a topic which can then invite commentaries. These comments are arranged so that the most recent ones appear first in the page. The topics can be on anything that interests people and can elicit a discussion or debate.

A blog can be managed by an individual, a small group or even large group of authors (in this case referred to as multi-author blogs or MABs). These are known as bloggers. Their main job is to add new posts or content to the blog. For a blog to be effective and make money, it needs to be updated as frequently as possible by the blogger. Blogging on the other hand is the process of writing posts or entries for a blog.

So How Can You Make Money Blogging?

1 Start a blog

Starting a blog is easy but only for those who are serious about blogging. Many services are available to help you start a blog for free but with time you may want to self-host your blog. You are more likely to succeed to make money blogging by self-hosting. This will require you to pay for a domain name and some monthly pay for web-hosting. These are very cheap compared to what you are likely to make when you are established.

If you wanna learn how to build a blog – step by step tutorial- please, click this link : http://vivamomentum.com/3-steps-to-blog-your-way-to-a-dream-career-at-home.html

2 Choose the right topic or niche
This is the most important aspect of blogging. You need to know what people like reading or what has a lot of bearing in their lives. For example in the health and fitness niche, weight loss is the big thing. Choose a topic that people like because it will drive more visitors to your blog and this translates into money.

3 Place ads or products that can satisfy the readers needs

In most cases, professional bloggers advertise something to do with the topic they have posted. This can be a product or eBook or any other thing that may interest the reader. The visitor is more likely to click on such an advert in order to get solutions or just to know more. This makes money.

For example, you can use banner advertising  like  the one bellow :

or just a simple link , like this one :

War on debt

4 Explore affiliate advertising networks
This is the best way to make money blogging. For these networks you will be paid whenever someone clicks on their links. There are several you can explore including AdSense, ClickBank , Google affiliate network, LinkShare  and Commission Junction among others. Choose what works best for you.

5 Ensure quality content for your blog
This does just mean good grammar, spelling and punctuation; it is also about relevance and the usefulness of the blog post. It must be able to educate, inform, entertain and at times edify the reader. It must be able to offer practical solutions to the readers’ problems.

These and many more tips if used can help make money blogging to the point of having it as your full-time job.  Many people have succeeded and you can too with dedication, determination and the will to achieve.

bloggingApplying a solution to common problems is the way to go in any business including blogging but one of the elements that blogging guru’s really leave out of the equation is the requisite talent required to pull together all the necessary pieces to be a financially successful blogger (writing skills, creative skills, marketing skills, experience, etc.).

Remarkable, original blogs (and writing) will win an audience.

Then we just have to understand what needs our blogs are meeting and who their audiences are if we want to monetize them.

1)If you want to make money in the real world, solve real problems. You need a niche market that people are interested and that can offer decent organic traffic. The fact that people are searching the Internet in order to find solutions to their problems is no longer a secret. See what the problems are in your niche market and offer as much free advices and content as you can.

2)Build a relationship with your readers. Bloggers who make any kind of money are just building trust and credibility with their readers. In other words, it’s not blogging that makes you money, it’s the relationship you build with your readers.
Write to build a relationship. Use the relationship to discover a need. Solve a need to make money… oh wait. That sounds like a business model.:-)

3)You need a business model. If you approach blogging as a business, you can learn to make money with it. If you don’t have a strong business model, you’re not going to make money and just being popular doesn’t mean that you make money. If you simply refuse to quit until you make money, and you accept that you may need to try different approaches until you get it right, you’ll make it work. If you approach it as a way to get famous, or you fall in love with any one topic/persona/approach, your odds start to get worse.

Tools To Help You Run Your Business

To create a blog from scratch is much easier than you may think . This video will show you a step by step tutorial.
